Steel processing company in Midtown Atlanta, has immediate openings for experienced slitter operators / steel processing operators

$25 per hour DIRECT HIRE!

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM | Friday: Overtime available (may be required)

Job Duties:

• Operate slitting machines to cut steel coils to specified sizes
• Use forklift to load and unload steel coils onto trucks
• Package and band steel products for shipment
• Calculate and track coil weights 
• Perform general warehouse duties and equipment operation
• Use basic hand tools for daily tasks

Requirements:

• Strong forklift experience
• Basic hand tool proficiency
• Good math skills for calculating coil weights
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Steel processing / Slitter or Coil processing experience 
• Overhead crane experience is a plus but not required
