Project Coordinator
Job Description
Established manufacturer in Laurens County, SC is hiring a Project Coordinator to support plant leadership and keep projects on track. This role handles administrative work alongside hands-on project coordination, acting as the go-between for leadership, production staff, vendors, and clients.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and track projects from kickoff to completion, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Flag project risks early and help problem-solve to keep work on schedule
- Prepare status reports and updates for plant leadership
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items
- Maintain project records, files, and confidential documentation
- Support vendor coordination and purchasing
- Track budgets, process expense reports, and handle invoicing
- Serve as the main point of contact between project teams, vendors, and plant staff
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in administrative support, project coordination, or project management in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar)
- Experience supporting leadership teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills, written and verbal
- Comfortable handling confidential information
