Production Supervisor- Food MFG
Job Description
Well established and growing food manufacturer opening a brand new facility in Atlanta, GA is looking for a bilingual (English / Spanish) Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a ground-floor opportunity with real room to grow as the facility scales.
$40.00/hour | Must be available for 1st or 2nd shift
What You'll Do
As a Production Supervisor, you'll lead a production team and oversee daily floor operations to ensure food products are made safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Supervise and direct production floor staff across assigned shifts
- Plan and coordinate daily workflow, assignments, and priorities
- Monitor output and ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Oversee safe operation of food production equipment including sheeting machines, ovens, and fryers
- Enforce GMP, food safety, and workplace safety policies
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Communicate production status, issues, and improvement opportunities to management
- Support the startup and ongoing buildout of facility processes and procedures
- Serve as a key communication bridge between English- and Spanish-speaking team members
What We're Looking For
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a food manufacturing environment required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience with food production equipment such as sheeting machines, ovens, or fryers preferred
- Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup production environment
