Picker / Stager for Manufacturing
Job Description
International manufacturer in Buford, GA is looking for a Picker / Stager to join their team!
$17–$18/hr | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Temp to Hire
What You'll Do
As a Picker/Stager, you'll support the production lines by keeping inventory staged, accurate, and ready to go — acting as the key link between the warehouse and production floor.
- Pull pick lists for upcoming production orders using SAP
- Stage raw materials for production and finished goods for shipment
- Maintain inventory levels in Kanban areas on the production lines
- Read and interpret BOMs for upcoming production orders
- Stage and count components accurately and in a timely manner
- Use RF scan gun and desktop PC for warehouse transactions
- Act as liaison between production and warehouse to locate missing components
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain an organized work area
What We're Looking For
- Prior MRP/ERP experience, SAP preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize orders
- Ability to read BOMs
- Adherence to safety rules and guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to work at a productive pace independently and as part of a team
- PIT/forklift certification a plus (not required — this is a staging role, not a dedicated forklift position)
