Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Manufacturer located in Stone Mountain is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a temporary, project-based assignment supporting the build out of a new battery module rework assembly line. This is roughly a 3 month engagement
$35-$45 per hour
What You'll Do
You'll play a hands-on role in standing up a new assembly line from the ground up.
- Support the build out of an assembly line for battery module rework
- Design and review work instructions
- Design, source, or build custom tooling
- Design and support installation of the battery module assembly line
- Work in AutoCAD to develop and document designs
- Split time roughly 50/50 between office design work and floor-level implementation
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Experience working in AutoCAD
- Background in tooling design and work instruction development
- Experience launching a new assembly line or supporting new product introduction
