Large corporate office in Norcross has an immediate need for a skilled Junior Network Administrator to join their IT department. 

$65,000-$75,000 Direct Hire Position

The Junior Network Administrator will be responsible for establishing, configuring, and maintaining internal and/or external networks. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Network Administrator to develop and maintain systems, applications, security, and network configurations, as well as assist with the installation and upkeep of networking and server hardware. Troubleshooting network performance issues and delivering 2nd & 3rd level technical support to users will also be essential duties.

We are searching for a strong communicator who will work hand-in-hand with the Network Administrator to oversee systems and project initiatives. This position will handle network and some system-generated helpdesk tickets. On-call duties will be necessary, and once fully onboarded, the candidate will have the chance to work from home on certain days, depending on requirements and coverage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee Cisco Routing and Switching Infrastructure (minimum 5 years' experience in mid-sized to large networks)
• Administer Cisco ISE (NAC)
• Proficiency with Fortinet Firewalls or other advanced firewalls (Checkpoint/Palo/Juniper, Sonicwall)
• Utilize VMware vCenter, overseeing multiple hosts/servers
• Employ VEEAM Backup/DR in a mid-sized to large network
• Manage EMC/Dell SAN with iSCSI expertise
• Administer Active Directory/DNS/DHCP (solid experience with mid-sized to large networks preferred)
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and deployment of cloud solutions (Azure)
• Monitor network using What's Up Gold
• Generate professional network documentation and presentations using Visio (preferred)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or comparable experience
• Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise networks
• Intermediate level knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies
• Proficient in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPN, network access control, and VMware
• Certifications in Cisco, Fortinet, Security, and others are advantageous
