Logistics Manager - Direct Hire ($110k-$150k) - Norcross & Marietta

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee their freight forwarding operations in Norcross (3 days/week) and Marietta (2 days/week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Select carriers, negotiate contracts and rates, and plan and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries
• Supervise logistics, truckloads, transportation, and shipping claims
• Organize warehouse operations, process shipments, and respond to issues or complaints
• Evaluate budgets, expenditures, and metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
• Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred)
• Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics is required
• Knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs clearance procedures
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems to track shipments and generate necessary documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency in additional languages is a plus)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (3 days in Norcross, 2 days in Marietta) Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 (Direct Hire)
