Industrial Maintenance Mechanic- Food Manufacturing
Job Description
Growing food manufacturer opening a brand new facility in Atlanta, GA near Fulton Industrial, is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by maintaining and repairing equipment across the facility.
$34.00 - $40.00/hour | 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs
- Maintain and repair food production equipment, including sheeting machines, industrial ovens, and fryers
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety and food safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or food processing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- PLC experience required; programming experience preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
